THE PROJECT
As Fintonic expanded into the Mexican market, the challenge was to adapt the original Spanish Personal Finance Manager (PFM) to meet the unique financial behaviors and needs of Mexican users. The aim was to create an intuitive and user-friendly experience that would resonate with the daily financial activities of users in Mexico.
THE OBJECTIVE
The primary goal was to localize the PFM experience for Mexican users, ensuring that the platform was tailored to their day-to-day financial needs. This included redesigning key sections such as the dashboard, transaction details, and integrating a new section for benefits, making the platform more relevant and valuable to its audience.
CREATIVE PROCESS
1
User Research & Localization.
Understanding the financial habits of Mexican users was crucial. Through user research and interviews, we identified the need for an intuitive dashboard that could offer quick access to essential financial information and tools.
2
Dashboard Redesign.
We developed a new dashboard that focused on the most relevant aspects for Mexican users, providing a clear overview of their accounts, transactions, and spending categories.
3
Improvement of Movements & Transaction Details.
The transactions section was revamped to enhance user interaction, making it easier to track, categorize, and understand expenses. The improved detail view offered a more comprehensive breakdown of each transaction, allowing users to better manage their finances.
4
Creation of the Benefits Section.
A new benefits section was introduced, giving users quick access to the products and services offered by Fintonic. This section was designed to be easily navigable, encouraging users to explore and take advantage of the financial tools available to them.
5
Integration Preparation for the Fintonic Credit Card.
The PFM was also designed to integrate seamlessly with the Fintonic credit card, ensuring users could manage all aspects of their finances within one unified platform.
